ACEO Painting. Original Watercolour Sketch of Tuscany

An ACEO (art trading card) which captures the heat of summer in Tuscan sun.

As an artist, the art of observation includes soaking up the atmosphere. Not every picture is perfect and sometimes – especially if you’re outside – you don’t have long before the light changes.  I plan to paint a larger version of this, and I think I might even create a series called ‘Fleeting Moments’.

If collected miniatures isn’t your thing, you can always just follow my blog to learn how I find inspiration in nature for landscape painting ideas. I am also a photographer and writer so would love you to join me.

You can expect to learn about the places I paint, and learn how I paint them.

Watch this space for more art. It’s April at the moment and my garden is starting to deliver a show a colour so I’ll also be doing lots more flower paintings.
